3 Ÿ 522 Ÿ 2685 Ÿ A A long-time repeat PEERLESS shopper asked us to liquidate his Aunt’s estate. Doing this job for a customer of more than 2 years — it was like working for our own family. A wonderful full house of a grandma’s favorite treasures, best linens, and furniture all carefully protected over the years were made available again in excellent condition for another family to enjoy. With so much experience in estate sale shopping, this client considered doing the job on his own and began the process of managing this sale! “I finally came to my senses…” It’s an overwhelming task. PEERLESS professionals work with such efficiency, merchandising and pricing experience — even after paying the commission, we promise the return will be higher, nothing left over, and someone else will have done all the work! * Ÿ 3 Ÿ 624 Ÿ 3323 Ÿ AA First learned about PEERLESS from our website and chose us after interviewing 5 other local estate brokers. With a basement full of boxes carefully packed away (some over 40 years ago) full of antique and vintage collectibles, as well as a garage, out-building and two other floors in the house, this was a labor intensive project utilizing the full resources of 17 PEERLESS Associates and contractors. Over 100 people waiting to get in on opening day to choose from the amazing collection saved by her mother and her grandmother! Vintage clothing and linens, collectible books, collectible paper, a featured collection of Calico Chintz dinnerware, art, rare military collectibles from both World Wars, and many 19th century collectibles including her grandmother’s folk art, doll collection, and Salvation Army bonnet and tambourine! Our client was not aware of the value of these pieces and hesitated to call PEERLESS because of our reputation for higher-end services. “Do you have a minimum?” she asked. We remind all of our clients that we are a service oriented company, and everyone is entitled to the same excellent service regardless of the monetary value of their belongings. Just imagine her surprise when sales were nearly FOUR TIMES her estimate!
There’s no substitute for PROFESSIONAL PRESENTATION.
3 Ÿ 412 Ÿ 1700 Ÿ BA “It’s Miraculous!” she said—and our team wasn’t even finished. A 1910 home in disrepair but with so much character — a hand-dug root cellar full of trash and treasure—it deserved our attention. We cleaned everything from top to bottom, removed all the waste, - even pressure washed the outside, painted a living room wall, and recovered the floor — all to make it presentable and inviting for our customers. Our clients might consider it to be service above and beyond the call. To us, it’s all part of doing a good job.

* Ÿ 4 Ÿ 1061 Ÿ 6318 Ÿ RS PEERLESS took complete charge of this liquidation event including the sensitive care of more than 40 heirs. 3 generation household featuring period furnishings, millinery, vintage clothing, antiques and collectibles in a volume we’re not likely to see for many years – nor will our customers! Record-breaking sales after 3 ½ weeks of setup. This event was the talk of the Portland collector’s scene. Seller of the property had 5 offers waiting on Monday morning following the sale from sale shoppers

* Ÿ 3 Ÿ 715 Ÿ 2587 Ÿ AA A downsizing/moving sale near Grant Park featuring a couple’s personal life-time collection as well as many of her Aunt’s belongings. Victorian valentines, collectible marbles, Art Nouveau furniture, framed original art, and a Chickering Grand Piano highlighted this sale. The customer’s response to the sales figures? “That much? Wow! ...and how much is our share?” she asked. “That is your share,” we replied.

2 Ÿ 865 Ÿ 3745 Ÿ A Emergency estate of antique furniture, paper/military/toy/vintage collectibles, and an inventory of computer networking equipment. Only 4 labor-intensive, deadline-critical days to set up with urgent circumstances: house closing in less than a week. Client 1st contacted us to buy the contents and take it all away — ours being her 2nd buy-out offer. We demonstrated the value of having the on-site liquidation event instead of accepting a low buy-out offer. Her payment from PEERLESS was thousands more than the antique dealer’s offer and the property was left in a condition expected by the Real Estate Agent — on time.
There’s no substitute for GETTING the HOUSE SOLD QUICKLY!
3 Ÿ 581 Ÿ 3524 Ÿ AA This local Doctor’s extensive estate collection of fine and costume jewelry just in time for Valentine’s Day! Also precious metals, coins, antique and vintage collectibles, tools, books, and medical supplies/furniture/equipment with a high volume of refuse and yard debris. Property was left empty and clean inside and out! The landscape surrounding the property presentable and ready for sale. House sold 3 days after the sale to a PEERLESS customer. 3 Ÿ 448 Ÿ 1726 Ÿ A The comfortable 2-bedroom house was sold Monday morning following the sale! * Ÿ 4 Ÿ 628 Ÿ 2515 Ÿ AA This fine home on Mt. Tabor sold immediately to a customer from the sale.
There’s no substitute for PEACE of MIND.
* Ÿ 3 Ÿ 680 Ÿ 3690 Ÿ AA Three sisters living on the East Coast entrusted us with a fine estate collection in the West Hills for their mother which included fine antique furniture, highly collectible sterling silver, glass, and porcelain, large collection of vintage linens, an overwhelming collection of designer clothing, and collectible books. We earned the trust and confidence they gave us. The property was left in the condition expected by the highly respected Realtor who referred us. ------------------------------------------------------- After the snow and ice storm, our Sr. Project Manager Rob Bergmann, grabbed his shovel to clear the snow and ice away from the stairs and walkway leading up to his next estate liquidation project. The house had been unoccupied for weeks and the heat turned off. As soon as he put the key in the lock and cracked the door open, he could hear the water. Water coming down from the ceilings, water rushing “like a river,” he said, out from under the kitchen sink, and 6 inches of water in the basement. Rob didn’t call the client. He called the Fire Department, who came but couldn’t find the shut-off valve. He called the city Water Bureau who did. Then he called his team in—on a Saturday night— who didn’t move in our display equipment as usual, but arrived with mops and buckets to save the hardwood floors, sweep up the fallen ceiling, and minimize the damage from the broken pipes. Rob didn’t call the client until he could tell them, “it’s taken care of. There’s nothing you need to do.” And then we worked in a house with no heat or running water all week to make sure another flawless event by PEERLESS Estate Sales took place on schedule. The client said, “you walk on water.” We were just doing our job — and that’s to exceed her expectations. You can expect no less. No other estate broker in Portland has the talent, dedication and resources to take the best care of its clients and earn their referrals. -----------------------------------------

* Ÿ 3 Ÿ 632 Ÿ 3273 Ÿ AA Home with many best quality vintage and contemporary furnishings, top brand appliances, a grand piano and the featured Ballerina Ring—a 6 carat custom-designed diamond dinner ring appraised over $20,000 worthy of an extensive marketing campaign: print advertising in WA and OR newspapers, display ad in the Living section (above), direct mail invitations, and a complimenting redesign of our web site.
There’s no substitute for RESPECT and COURTESY.
* Ÿ 3 Ÿ 712 Ÿ 3037 Ÿ RS Household contents from the Estate of Mr. & Mrs. Simeon Reed Winch (The Portland Journal) in their grand Portland residence. Professional appraisals and detailed on-line research were invested in the pricing of this collection resulting in record opening day sales. We decorated the sweeping staircase with dozens of Poinsettias for the holidays and provided full-time on-site security plus a full day-time staff of 2 managers and 6 customer service associates. It was a privilege for us to work in a historic home with furnishings of such local significance and felt a duty to help them get passed along responsibly. Detailed household inventory records, newspaper clippings, receipts, and appraisals were available for us to create custom Provenance Packages for many of the treasures in this sale—some of which were original furnishings of the home since 1927.
